Bouma National Heritage Park, on the island of Taveuni, Fiji, is famous for its stunning Bouma Waterfalls, a series of three waterfalls each offering a unique swimming experience. The first waterfall is easily accessible and popular for swimming, while the second and third require more challenging hikes. Accessibility to the upper falls can be limited for those with mobility issues. While the first waterfall can be visited solo, a local guide is recommended for the upper falls due to the challenging terrain. The park is generally open year-round, but the best time to visit is during the dry season (May to October) to avoid slippery trails. The park entrance fee is approximately $15-$20 FJD. A typical visit, including hiking and swimming, can last 3-5 hours, depending on how many waterfalls you plan to visit.
