The town is generally accessible, though some areas have cobblestone streets which might pose challenges for those with mobility issues. It's suitable for both solo and guided visits; guided boat tours to the islands are highly recommended. The best time to visit is during the shoulder seasons (spring and fall) to avoid the summer crowds. A day trip from Kotor is sufficient for most visitors, and the cost is relatively moderate, mainly covering transportation and boat tour expenses.
